Privacy Policy
Thompson Equipment Co. LLC, Clarence Center, New York. Effective November 6, 2026.
What this policy covers
This policy explains how Thompson Equipment Co. LLC handles information collected through thompsonequipco.com. It covers the forms on this site, the files you upload, and the basic analytics used to understand how the site is used.
Information you give us
When you submit a form on this site, we collect what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, and the details of your request. Depending on the form, that can include machine make, model and year, serial numbers, desired sizes and configurations, rental dates or job location, and financing details such as purchase price, down payment, business type, and years in business.
If you upload a photo with an inquiry, that file is stored and we use it to evaluate the machine or equipment you are asking about.
Brokerage and purchase agreement flows collect the information needed to prepare and sign those documents, including the legal name, address, and signature associated with the transaction.
How we use it
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, quote equipment, attachments, rentals, or freight, evaluate a machine you want to sell, prepare financing options, send and receive signed agreements, and keep records of transactions we complete.
When you ask us for financing, the details you submit may be shared with lending partners for the purpose of evaluating your request. When you ask for delivery or freight, the details needed to arrange it may be shared with the carrier. We do not sell your information.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses basic analytics to count visits and form submissions in aggregate so we know which pages and listings are useful. Staff who sign in to the administrative area receive a session token in their browser so they stay signed in; that applies to staff accounts only, not to public visitors.
How long we keep it
Inquiry records are kept while we are working the lead and afterward as a business record. Agreement records are kept as long as required for tax, warranty, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete an inquiry that did not result in a transaction.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete an inquiry record. Call or text us and we will handle it. Note that records tied to a completed sale, financing, or signed agreement generally have to be retained.
Security
Access to inquiry, pricing, and agreement records is limited to company staff. Cost, margin, and internal pricing data are never shown on the public site. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial credentials through a form on this site.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
